The story
This Valentine’s Day, we honor the greatest love to ever exist.
“I SAID THAT I LOVE YOU.”
These words are spoken gently with reassurance,
a reminder of the love that has always been there.
Jesus loved us first. Before we were born. Before we ever did anything to deserve it. Before we ever failed.
God knew us, and still chose to love us.
When we fall.
When we sin.
When we feel unworthy.
Let this be the reminder: His love has already been declared.
“I said that I love you.”
And because of that love, we are called higher. Not to continue in sin, but to turn from it. Not to live in guilt, but to live knowing Jesus STILL loves you.
When temptation comes, remember:
You are already loved.
You are already chosen to be great.
You are already pursued by the love of Jesus.
This piece isn’t about romance.
It serves as a reminder of the greatest love to ever exist.
The first love.
The eternal love.
The love that never changes.
