Our Lady of Fatima Crewneck

Our Lady of Fatima is one of the greatest Mother Mary apparitions of our time. Mary performed what became known as the “Miracle of the Sun” to reportedly over 70,000 people on October 13th, 1917. 

At this apparition, people reported being able to look directly at the sun. Newspapers published countless testimonies of the sun appearing to dance and zig-zag in the sky, emit multicolored light and radiant colors, and even cascade towards earth. The rainy sky cleared up, the clouds dispersed and the ground which had been wet and muddy from the rain had dried. Many people reported changes of color in the entire atmosphere for the 10 minutes the miracle was occurring.

This miracle was in response to a prophecy made by three shepherd children, Lucia, Francisco and Jacinta. The prophecy was that the Virgin Mary would appear and perform miracles on that date after the children were faced with skepticism.

Most importantly Mother Mary told the children of Fatima to pray the rosary daily for peace in the world, which is what we must do.
