Saint Padre Pio Boxer Crewneck

Saint Padre Pio suffered immensely from spiritual warfare and would often physically fight demons in the night. He writes in one letter he wrote to a priest confidant: 

“These devils don’t stop striking me, even making me fall down from the bed. They even tear off my shirt to beat me! But now they do not frighten me anymore. Jesus loves me, He often lifts me and places me back on the bed.”

This design represents Saint Padre Pio's physical warfare with demons and his final victory.  The number 2002 represents the immense number of demons Saint Padre Pio presumably fought but more importantly the year in which he was canonized a saint. Everyday is a spiritual battle where we are in a constant matchup with demons. We can learn from Saint Padre Pio - A world champion who encourages that if a person is close to God, they have nothing to fear from the devil.
